Diaries of Daisy

I’m of the population of women who needed a population to fit into. You were pretty but only saw it if your head was tilted at the right angle. Your family and friends saw it, said it, but you never felt it. You were friends with anyone you encountered yet weren’t always invited to outings. Almost, dare I say, forgotten. But, now, you’re a beautiful 20-something year old who is finding herself in the world.

I started this adventure with the intention of simply verbalizing my thoughts on a virtual piece of paper. I’m creating a space where I’m free to speak in run-on sentences and go off on tangents. Perhaps this will reduce some anxiety, maybe combat my undiagnosed ADD? Either way, this is my promise to keep you all entertained. Or at the very least preoccupied.

Grow with me on this new adventure as I reluctantly exit my 20s and tiptoe toward the first year of my 30s.
